B. Setup
1. Two solo cups are filled with 1/2 cup hot or cold water. Each cup is labeled with masking tape hot or cold accordingly.
2. Temperatures are recorded before putting cups in freezer.
3. Both cups are put in the freezer.
4. Timer is set for 15 minutes.
5. Temperatures are recorded or thermometer is used to tap water to check for ice.
6. Set timer for another 15 minutes.
7. Temperatures are recorded or thermometer is used to tap water to check for ice.
8. Set timer for another 15 minutes.
9. Temperatures are recorded or thermometer is used to tap water to check for ice.

2. Hypothesis: This experiment is to find out what water will boil faster hot or cold. I predict that the hot water will boil faster due to the fact that the temperature of the water is closer to that of boiling than the cold water.

3. Hypothesis: This experiment is to find out whether salt water will freeze faster or slower than regular water. My prediction is that the regular water will freeze faster since salt lowers the freezing point of ice when we dump salt on it in the winter time.

2. Both cups are put in the freezer.3. Timer is set for 15 minutes.
4. Temperatures are recorded or thermometer is used to tap water to check for ice.
5. Set timer for another 15 minutes.
6. Temperatures are recorded or thermometer is used to tap water to check for ice.
